Selections for a client's room

Here are some lovely selections for my client's living room...

The walls have been painted a meduim green tone
and mahogany floors have been added...

This classic, older home's beautiful
living room has a vintage French feel to it...

for contrast we are adding modern pieces...

with vintage, of course.

this creates
my trademark decorating of

Elegant yet welcoming,
creates a beautiful room that your guests can feel comfortable in.

Handmade pieces lend charm...

and harmonize perfectly with artisan items like this lamp..
Have a great weekend!

Can my little baby boy
who wore this hat home from the hospital 25 years ago..

really be graduating?

here with his beautiful fiance,
who graduated with her MSW,
the night previous from another college...

my wonderful  family joined me in Doyle's special day...

then back to the homestead for a toast
and a light lunch...
( more painted brick)

His celebration party is later this week,
for there is so much we are blessed with...

Thank you so much for coming by.

100th White Wednesday Post at Faded Charm!

It is the
100th post of White Wednesdays at

celebrating the shades of white,
I thought I would create a collage of whites.
Soon to remember I have made a few already, so here is a trip through my archives...

A simple collage of the architecture
of Somerset, Massachusetts where we live...

collage of items from my Brayton Cottage shop...

a plea for help on which accessory to select!

for the love of dogs....

wondrous shades of white...

concluding with the collage on my last post.

thanks for visiting!

at Brimfield Antique Show

this Friday, Krumpet and I shopped for clients
and, of course, for us at Brimfield...

there we met the lovely Amy
at her booth. She was so nice and the booth she shares with Kerry
of Antique Therapy is beautiful!

I have become fonder and fonder of white tones...
A collage to celebrate!

More from Amy's booth-
I am thoroughly convinced now!

so today I resumed painting the brick in my kitchen white ( had seen better days).
and glazing it for age as well.
You can see near my stove in this post where I had started painting.
